With a passion for women’s health and a heart rooted in faith and family, I embarked on my journey at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, graduating from Pharmacy school in 1990. It was there, amidst the vibrant campus life, that I also found the love of my life, Scott, whom I’ve cherished since our marriage in 1989.

Following graduation, I delved into the world of retail pharmacy in Charlotte, where I honed my skills and dedication to patient care. However, the arrival of our first child sparked a desire to return to the serene mountains, beckoning us closer to our roots and family ties. Since 1999, I have worked as a consultant pharmacist, passionately collaborating with patients and their practitioners to craft personalized hormone consultations and treatment plans.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of sharing my expertise at many conferences and seminars, connecting with both patients and fellow healthcare professionals alike. It was a humbling moment to grace the cover of Carolina Spark Magazine, recognized as one of the inspiring women shaping the landscape of the Carolinas.

Yet, amidst professional accolades, my true treasures reside in the warmth of my family’s embrace and the laughter shared with dear friends. Beyond the confines of the pharmacy, I find solace in the great outdoors, indulging in camping, hiking, biking, and capturing the majestic beauty of wildlife through my camera lens. There’s a particular allure in photographing creatures like grizzlies, wolves, and orca whales—a reminder of the awe-inspiring wonders that surround us.

In essence, my life’s tapestry is woven with threads of compassion, dedication, and an unwavering love for both my craft and the world around me.
